Trying to figure out what size carbs they are, the ID of the motor side of the carbs is 44mm, would that make them 44s?

yep, 44m carbs then, thats where they are measured

any chance 1 of the parts sled has good ski tip rubbers on them youd like to sell?

I tried to find a set of pistons last year for the same project,I found out that weisco made some back in the day and some companys hade pistons made in England and there are none to be had,your best bet would be to call weisco and see wht it would take for them to make a batch.

Yeah im going to call wiseco on monday, it came with a set of junk pistons from venolia, they say venolia alcoa 287 so im going to give them a call tommorrow see what they have, it has a single ring set up which seems kind of odd

No luck with wiseco, hauck or bender, im going to take some measurements and see if I can't find a piston from another sled that will fit

For sale is a brand new wiseco piston for yamaha snowmobiles. Wiseco part number is 2304p2. Kit is new, and removed from the box only for pictures. Kit includes everything pictured, piston, circlips, and rings. Kit is missing the piston pin. Piston size is .020 over, and fits yamaha vmax 540 from 1983-1989. Kit retails for 108.99

Thanks but I already called wiseco, .020 over is about 8 times less than what I need haha, I believe 4mm is like .160 over or something like that, I've been up and down the web all night and day and all I can come up with is this venolia place that sells car pistons, haven't had a chance to talk to anyone yet, thanks again

Talked to venolia piston a few minutes ago and they can have them made for 125 a piece, im going to try and get a set in the next month or so , so I can grass drag the hell out of it this fall haha

Give Starting Line Products a call as they made and sold those big bore kits . They said that they made 103 HP and called them 600 cc big bore kits.

i though I had a line on a complete 'big bore kit" but I could never get the seller to commit. If you order pistons, get ahold of me. I am very intrested
