83 V-max Ski Questions

I am the second owner of my 83 max and i have seen other 83's with rubber tips on the ski tips, like you saw on the frist Phazers. Mine does not have these rubber covers on the ski or does mine have any stripes on the skis.Were the stripes and rubber covers on all 83's? My slis dont have the holes in the handles like th Phazers did. Any info would be a big help. Thanks again.
