clutch and taper question

I am wondering if the newer style (srx, sx, viper) primary clutches can be run on the Vmax's. Is the taper the same? I just picked up a '91 Vmax, and is going to undergo a complete ground up restoration, with a few slight modifications such as flat slide carbs, cluches, jackshaft, driveshaft, and chaincase. Please let me know about the taper.
