Yamaha secondary clutch on a 540 v-max?

I wanna put a secondary clutch from a 81 srx 440 onto a 540 v-max would it work right??

yeah it should work alright.... set your spring to c2 i believe (too many numbers in the last couple days i cant be certian)

Tyler440 is right. Standard spring position "C" in the number 2 hole.

You should also change the spring, the SRX had a yellow spring and the Vmax had a pink spring the pink one has a lot more tention. The yellow is just to lite for the Vmax.
