Is it possible to take a newer chaincase from any of the newer vmaxs with reverse and make it work on my 84??? I know some modifications would be in order but anyone think its possible?

I recently traded my dirtbike for an 84 vmax and just wanted to know where the vin is located. Need to file for lost title and cant find vin.
