84 vmax question

Is it possible to take a newer chaincase from any of the newer vmaxs with reverse and make it work on my 84??? I know some modifications would be in order but anyone think its possible?

Anything is possible with a lathe, sawsall, welder ect..... The jackshaft and mounting would be totally different. I doubt there is room for the larger chaincase/ reverse drive assembly ?
