That my friend is Yamaha Phazer Clutch better known as a Y.P.Z. ! Used on the 1984 -1991 Phazer, 85-91 SRV, 87-90 Exciter and other Yamaha's. I'm not sure but, I doubt the shaft taper will allow it to work on the Vmax ?
